Katie was born on the East Coast, raised in the South, and spent several years in Singapore.

 

Katie's professional experience includes serving as the Creative Director for El Paso Import Company and a seven-year tenure at award-winning Jauregui Architecture & Interiors in Austin, rising from unpaid intern to Senior Interior Designer. During that time, she refined her expertise in luxury residential design-build projects.​

After launching her own studio in 2017, Katie has completed a wide range of multifamily, ground up, projects in the luxury high-rise, built-to-rent, active senior living, affordable housing and value add sectors. Katie's portfolio includes repeat and ongoing work for clients including Cushman & Wakefield, Urban Moment Development, and Mission Development Group.

Katie has the vision, expertise, and knowledge to get your project done on time, on budget, and on concept. With over 16 years of design and project management experience she'll expertly oversee all aspects of your multifamily project from concept to completion.

T H E  P R O C E S S 

 

Katie Postel Interiors (KPI) provides turnkey interior design furnishing and FF&E consulting services for multifamily properties, offering an end-to-end solution, handling everything from space planning and furniture procurement to warehousing and final installation. KPI specializes in delivering move-in-ready model units, leasing offices, outdoor and amenity spaces, allowing developers, property managers and investors to avoid the logistical hurdles of furnishing while providing access to steep trade discounts.

Our process includes:

 

• PLAN: schedule a discovery call to understand the scope of work and discuss the budget, timeline, aesthetics, and the function of your spaces.

• DESIGN: present a fully developed presentation including a timeline, furniture floor plan and design vignettes. This will include a lump-sum cost covering all design, project management, procurement, storage and installation fees. 

​

• REFINE: modify the design until it perfectly aligns with your vision. 

​

• IMPLEMENT: manage furniture ordering, tracking, and storage concluding with full delivery, assembly, and final styling.
